Cathy Mondloch-Seavey

Cathy Mondloch-Seavey is a New Mexican yogi who started her practice in 2006 at Albuquerque’s first hot yoga studio. Immediately falling in love with the intensity of the practice, she enrolled in teacher training with Bikram Choudhury in 2007. She completed 200-hour yoga training at the Open Hand Institute in 2016, which deepened her knowledge of various yoga modalities such as traditional Ashtanga and therapeutic methods under the instruction of Dr. Nydia Darby, DPT, then completed her 300-hour studies in 2021 with Beryl Bender Birch. Since becoming a mom in 2023, Cathy has trained specifically in yoga for pelvic floor health.

From long-time practitioners to brand new yogis (including those recovering from injuries and surgeries), Cathy helps her students increase their physical mobility, mental focus and emotional calm. She believes every person can benefit from a regular mindful movement practice, and experience the sense of renewal that can be found through yoga.
