
Julia has been practicing yoga for half of her life, it was about how she felt after class and the people she practiced with. She received her first 200Hr certification at Bhava Yoga Studio. She completed a 300Hr Certification from Inner Peace Yoga Therapies 300hr and is currently finishing her Prenatal Yoga Certification through Baby Moon Tri-Fit.
Yoga has been a consistent and integral part of Julia’s life for 15 years, she rehabbed her knee after a surgery, taught yoga all the way through her pregnancy, and used many of yoga’s teachings to reintegrate her life postpartum.
Now she is evolving her teachings to specialize her offerings in gentle & restorative and prenatal & postpartum yoga. She understands the impact that movement and community has on every body. Julia teaches with the intention of self love through acceptance. She believes Yoga nurtures our awareness so that we may tune into knowing ourselves and find freedom within.
