20 Hour Mentorship Program
Have you completed at least a 200 hour yoga teacher training program and have a desire to learn about and/or lead safe and effective postpartum yoga classes? Then, you may be a great candidate for the 20 Hour Baby Moon Yoga Postpartum Mentorship.
Here’s the schedule: When you decide you’re ready, you’ll attend ten 60 minute Baby & Me Yoga classes with Baby Moon Yoga either in-person or virtually on Thursdays at 10:30 am MST. Recordings are available if you’re unable to make these times. You can attend classes once each week or biweekly. After each class, you’ll meet with the instructor, Sarah Gorham Silverman, to discuss specific learning objectives from that day of class. If you’re unable to meet in-person, Sarah can schedule a 30 minute meeting with you virtually or in-person at another time that corresponds with the participation of each class.
Final Assignments will include:
Develop 2 sequences for specific case study scenarios.
Lead Sarah through 1 sequence.
Lead at least 1 other person through the other sequence while recording.
HOURS:
• Attend ten 60 minute Baby & Me Yoga classes in-person (preferred) or online. Viewing class recordings is acceptable if you provide a short summary of the class. (10 hours)
• Attend ten 30 minute sessions with Sarah Gorham Silverman to go over specific learning objectives from each of the 10 classes. In-person or virtually. (5 hours)
• Sarah will send you 2 postpartum case studies. Design a sequence that aligns to the needs of each study, and present these for discussion and critique either in-person or online. (2 hours)
• Instruct 1 sequence to Sarah either in-person or online. (1.5 hours)
• Record yourself teaching the other sequence to at least 1 person, and submit your video to Sarah for discussion. (1.5 hours)
• Final discussion and certificate with Sarah. (1 hour – max).
Total = 21 Hours, which can count as Continuing Education Credits through the Yoga Alliance.
